Ward Warehouse Medication and Supply Management Module

SMARTWard® is a ward warehouse management module which is designed with the intention of real-time and electronic management of small stock areas such as ward warehouses and PAR locations. It optimizes medication and supply stock levels of wards and minimizes stock errors while raising service quality.

SMARTWard® has all the software capabilities of an ADC’s. System also supports modules such as MedNest®, CoolSMART® and External Lock for more controlled medication and supply management. That flexibility offers scalability in the investment cost of medication and supply management system.

SMARTWard® enhances the management of ward stock and controls medication and supplies charged to patients, reducing human errors. The system improves healthcare quality and saves time for staff by leveraging barcode technology and barcode reader support.

Consumption Workflow within the Ward:

  • The station user logs into the system to access products stocked on the shelves.
  • The user selects the patient and scans either the barcode on the product or the shelf.
  • The user enters the amount of the product to be taken.
  • Once this action is completed, both the ward’s stock level and the patient’s invoice are automatically updated through system integration.
