Patient-Oriented
Mobile Medication Management
for the Operating Room

AnesthesiaSMART® standardizes the management of narcotic medications in operating rooms, where workflows differ from those of standard medication management. By utilizing AnesthesiaSMART®, patient-oriented care in the operating room becomes safer and more efficient, while simultaneously increasing both medication safety and anesthesia workflow efficiency.

Designed for full mobility, AnesthesiaSMART® supports urgent access to medications required in the operating room. Its flexibility allows it to be positioned in hallways and used in all operating rooms as needed, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

The system enforces controlled access to medications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. It automatically captures all information related to medication retrieval, return, waste, and charges, eliminating manual tasks. All AnesthesiaSMART® stations are integrated, allowing activities to be accessed across multiple stations, streamlining the workflow.

AnesthesiaSMART® features various drawer configurations, including single or double-height Matrix Drawers, double-height Sliding Drawers, and easy-access drawers, providing flexibility in storage and medication management.

The Virtual Drawer function in AnesthesiaSMART® tracks every transaction related to medication pockets, helping users verify medication retrieval and return. This functionality prevents medication errors, saves time, and enhances patient safety.

Advantages of Anesthesiologists

In the standard workflow, the anesthesiologist must first process the medication from the system to the patient’s account. However, with AnesthesiaSMART®, the anesthesiologist can skip this step by issuing the medication directly to their own account. Later, when the intensity of the day decreases, the anesthesiologist can then process the medications used into their patients’ accounts and return any unused items to the system. This streamlined workflow allows the anesthesiologist to allocate more time to patient care during urgent surgeries, maximizing valuable clinical time.

AnesthesiaSMART® allows the anesthesiologist to configure the drawers and doors of the mobile system according to their specific needs during the product order stage. Configurations can also be adjusted later during active use. The system supports mix and match drawers and doors, offering flexibility in medication and supply storage.

As a mobile product, AnesthesiaSMART® is designed to store both medications and supplies. The anesthesiologist can easily move the system within the operating room, optimizing the arrangement of equipment according to the needs of each specific surgery.

With the Easy Accessible Drawer feature, the anesthesiologist can instantly access any required item by simply logging into the system, ensuring that everything needed is readily available during procedures.

One of the key features that sets AnesthesiaSMART® apart from its competitors is that it has been awarded CE certificates and the RoHS declaration of conformity, confirming its successful completion of rigorous testing by accredited local organizations and industry experts.
